Slipping Clutch

I have a clutch that will slip in 4,5 gears if i get on it hard at a lower rpm. The clutch was supposed to of been replaced abot 3,000 miles ago. The pedal is at the top and if i depress it slightly it will slip. The rod from the pedal to the master has freeplay so i know the master is released. Is there and tricks or adjusments to get some more pedal free play?
