slight clicking when turning sharp left

When I make a sharp left turn I can hear slight clicking on the right front side. I just had ball joints replaced this summer! What else can it be? I like this truck but it sure seems something goes wrong about every 3-4 months.

I would guess its the front U joints that are out by the hub, look in there and give them a wiggle, see if they move, or if there is a powdery dust coming out of them

With over 200K miles if they are still factory, this is most likely the problem.

Sucks that you just had your balljoints done, could have done this at the same time as some of the labor crosses over between jobs.

I didn't do the ball joints myself because of not having the correct tools and difficulty. I do try and do alot of the work myself--are replacing the U-joints as hard as the ball joints?

No it is easier than installing new ball joints. You just have to tear the front end down to pretty much the point of installing new ball joints. Search "ball joints" you will find an easy step by step procedure for installing ball joints which will also cover the u-joints. The u-joints themselves are large, if you don't have a press you may have to take the shafts to a shop and have new ones installed. But by tearing it down yourself you will save several hundred $ in labor. You might also check the wheel bearings, if they missed bad u-joints they may have overlooked the wheel bearings as well.
