Sliding all over the place!!
When it rains my '05 is all over the place and, no, I do not have a heavy foot.
Any recommendations on a good replacement tire that can handle wet roads? Really appreciate the help 'cause I am tire dumb.

the BFG's are good in wet and snow, until they get down to about 25% left, as with pretty much any tire.
i heard from one of my friends, that his LTX's are great in the wet and snow, and believe it or not, he has almost 170,000kms on his 285's,and they still have more tread left then my 315's which have about 50,000kms.
his truck is a 98 5 spd truck.the tires these trucks come with suck, and so do the goodyears, IMO.

It sounds like hydroplaning from the wide 325 tires. Other than different tires, I don't know of a solution for the problem. It sounds as if the tires are riding above the water, instead of cutting through the water.

I think you have mistaken his CTD hp in his sig for tire size. I just checked his gallery. looks like stock 265's

I don't have deep pockets like the rest of you guys, I have 305/70/17 Mud Dawgs from Summit, they really improved the traction on my truck. With the stock tires on, I could lock up all 4 and not even slow down. (The guy in front of me fudged his jockeys!!) They set me back $800 on the truck.
