This site rocks!
So, I leave for work this morning and notice my check engine light is on. HMMMM...wasn't on last night. I figure I'll deal with it later as everything seems to be running ok. Pull out of the driveway and it won't shift...go back home and break out the scanner. 1762. Reboot computer and clear code, start truck and the code pops right back up. Dang it!! Search 1762 here on DTR and the concensus is replace the gov pressure sensor and solenoid. A truck with only 60K miles shouldn't be having tranny problems, but a couple of hours and @ $250 later, shes fixed. What a great site!!

On behalf of Jack and Lary, you're welcome.
Hmmm, 60K, sounds familiar.
Just replaced both of those on mine about a month ago, right around 60k.
Only $100 though, still under warranty.
