Siris about to expire
So my 1 year free siris is about to expire, and I wanted to see if you guys were getting any deals on renewal.
My wifes car has XM and when it expired we got several offers to keep it going but didn't want to spend $100+ on a yearly extension so we let it go. About a month later they sent us renewal offer discounts and it only cost $50.
Hoping to get the same thing, as I only listen to 3 channels, and am constantly flipping for something I like between the 3 so it would have to be a deal for me to renew.

No better deals then they offered before it went out. I let mine run out at the end of July and just got another offer letter with the same offer that they gave before. For me it was better to get an MP3 and forget it.

My GF's dad's expired a long time ago, but still works.
I don't know how or when they send the deactivation signal.
Anyhow, I've got two on my account (at work, and for the GF), and the truck's previous owner let the lifetime subscription go with the truck.
The price of a 2nd or 3rd receiver is cheaper than the first one.

I just purchased the 3 month subscription every 3 months at the moment until I feel like paying for 1 year in advance. I listen to sirius more than the regular radio usually.

I bought my truck August 06. Two years later it is still working? I wonder when the signal will shut off.
I'm hoping they mistakenly gave me lifetime subscription.

Mine expired about a month ago. It worked until yesterday, just blinking now. I was thinking it would just continue to work, no such luck as some of you. I think it is worth about $5 a month, but not $13.

I've got XM in my personal car and Sirius in my truck and I like the programming and layout of the XM in my car (Chevrolet Impala) MUCH better than Sirius. Wonder when they're going to merge. I don't like layout of the stock radio and controls in the truck - I'm dying to get something different in there, but the tranny must come first.

mine expired a month after the one year...my work gave me a 2 year for both trucks..Sirius gave us a deal for having two subscriptions. The only thing i hate about the Sirius in the dodge is the channel name display stuff is not there!

oct. 6 is the official merge of the stations. I went to circuit city today to get an xm unit bc the sirius signal sucks by me. XM uses a more direct signal while sirius uses more of a sideways figure 8 type signal. My parents just bought a car with the xm and it never loses signal where i lose my sirius. The salesman at CC said to wait because the signal will get stronger when sirius takes over some of the xm satelites.
