Aight well my new girlfriend loves the truck but its pretty hard to hold a conversation when at about 2200 rpm's you have to yell to hear , I think i might be taking the stacks off

I don't want to sound like your guys' Mother but be careful with your hearing. Once its gone, its gone. Mine is going, and it sucks to strain to hear what your old lady is saying from across the table.

Put some kinda valve in the exhaust pipe so you can pull a cable and route the exhaust out the back of the pickup when she is with you and you can push the cable back in when she isn't and route it through the stacks

I met my current girlfriend of 2 years when I had my old '97 12 valve with two 5" stacks, reg cab, it was plenty loud! And she didnt care, it actually wasnt bad with the windows rolled up.
If you dont have any sound deadener, line the floors, doors, and back of the cab/roof, it will cut down on any resonance a TON.
