Silverline 4" Turbo back installed
When I first got the truck I had a muffler delete pipe welded in but I didn't like the drone. I decided to put the stock muffler back on and keep the truck stock.
A month ago I installed the Westach 30psi FP gauge from Geno's "just to keep tabs on my stock motor."
Today I decided that I may have the straight pipe put back in but nobody around here had 3" to 4" adapter. I called ANSA (Silverline) to check if they had their muffler eliminator for an 01. No luck, but Mike explained to me that he had a stainless 4" turbo back system for super cheap. Apparently when you live in the same town as ANSA (Silverline) and you can pick up from the warehouse you get wholesale pricing. I'm talking like the same price as a couple of eliminator pipes.
Needless to say I picked it up after work and after a few hours of wrestling 4" pipe on a dirty driveway I have the system in.
It is amazing. The tone is so much deeper than the stock exhaust w/ eliminator. Plus, there is absolutely no drone at all. Inside the truck with the windows up it is just as quiet as stock. No exaggeration. Outside it sounds like a big rig.
I was impressed by the 4" cored muffler. You can look right through it. All 4" of it. I would recommend this system to everyone. Especially if you live near Macon, GA and can pick it up yourself.

Thats sounds just like it. Its pretty quiet if you want it to be. I picked mine up for a little over 500 bucks at a 4wheel show. Which type of stainless did you get?? Mine is supposed to never rust, but after 1.5 yrs it has a few brown spots on it near the front. Not sure if they would come out or not. Sounds like you made a good buy!

I don't know which stainless it was, we don't get snow so any stainless is fine down here.
I think now I am headed down that slippery slope of Bombing. I'm already researching programmers....
