Like the title said, I have an oportunity to pick up a silver shortbed shell for a really good price; free. I was wondering if anyone was running that color combo. I'll most likely repaint it to match the truck. Like the sig says, I have an '06 Megacab. I was even thinking on matching the color of the Mojave Teflons. Here's me truck.

Should look pretty decent, and you can always do a quick black job on it so it doesnt look too out of place till you can get it sprayed to match.

What is it about Megacabs? The back of the cab, being rounded rather than straight across, hits the forward top of the shell because it's straight rather than rounded. Are the quadcabs different? Anyways, no go on the shell.







You think I would have learned this when I ordered my Best Top Supertop and it didn't fit.

The quadcabs have the rounded cab as well. What truck did that topper come off of? Looks like maybe a shortbed Ford, or 2nd gen shortbed Dodge.

Off topic--What rack is that you have? A Thule or Yakima? I LOVE it. Very sturdy looking.

My buddy said it came off of an '04 Quadcab but I think he was wrong. I wrote down the model # and will look it up later (LA3101). It must have been an older gen truck.

The racks on my truck are Yakimas. Got them from Rack Attack a couple years ago. I've had two 20' kayaks on them and no problems at all.
