silencer ring and dahl pre pump filter
new dodge guy question? whats the silencer ring and baffles everyone is removing and can you do it at any time
i only have 449 miles on mine

oh and if i was going to install a dahl pre pump is the fuel pump in the tank or frame mounted thanks and has anyone done this on here

Yes, there can be done at any time.
Baffles, This is actually the intake torque tube that goes from your airbox down into the turbo. If you remove that, you can look inside and see where there are baffles to keep it nice and quiet. I wouldn't suggest knocking out those baffles (though you probably could) but most people just buy a replacement tube that is hollow. (I used a 5" chrome stack for mine). It doesn't add any HP, just a sweet sound from the turbo.
Silencer Ring in inside the turbo. Remove baffle and you will see it there. Removing that doesn't add any HP, just more sound from the turbo. You will need a small screwdriver or something to start it and then just pull it out.
