I tore the truck apart Friday/Saturday to replaced wheel bearings because they felt loose. Turns out a few hub bolts weren't tight.
Tightened them up and now they are tight as new.

I still needed to take the passenger side axle out though to replace a leaking seal. When I took the CAD housing cover off I realized the intermediate shaft bearing was shot, the rollers were all gone.
I couldn't source the part ANYWHERE, even at Dodge, so I kept trying. Finally a NAPA sourced one for me. $8.00..

I managed to get the new bearing installed in my central axle disconnect housing, but I ruined the axle seal when I put it in, so I left it out and reassembled everything because I needed my truck.

I plan to take the truck in Monday to have the pros put that #)%$$* seal in.

Its kind of funny, fluid isn't POURING out the passenger side like I expected, in fact its been dry as far as I can tell.. There is still fluid in the diff of course.

Anyways, now that I'm driving it, I am getting a shudder/vibration that is pretty mild to moderate, much worse than the little episodes it had before. It sounds like I'm driving over the rumble strip on the side of the road constantly.
Then, it goes away. It seems to cyle on and off almost.

Any ideas what is happening?
I think I fixed my front brakes pulling so the front wheels/lugs aren't getting hot anymore, I think a caliper was sticking.

I haven't sent the wheel bearing assemblies back yet.. Maybe one IS bad?

Let me know what you think or I guess I'll post my findings when I take it in monday morning..
I loose more money taking off hours from work to fix it than it would cost to take to a shop Especially when I fail to fix the issue at hand and have to pay TWICE

Not sure on the rumble but the dealer has about the best deal going on replacing the front seals, $150 per side. It's almost the only good deal they have.
