Question shopping for 1999-2002 2500,3500

With the 2000 Ram, Dodge put new front suspension, steering and brake systems.
What were these improvements? Should I revise my search to 2000-2002? Were these problem areas for Dodge? Automatic vs Manual transmission?

Help me!

I think they went to a dual piston caliper with regards to the brakes. They might be talking about the Y type steering setup instead of the T. The T setup is better. Not sure on the suspension?

If you add serious power mods (100 hp+ avg.) to your truck you'll need to upgrade the trans weather it be a Manual or Automatic.
