Shop for O rings, Calgary AB area

I know there are several members in the Calgary, AB area on this board. So I was hoping that one of them could recommend a reputable shop for getting my 12V head o-ringed.

I asked D&W custom engine last year if they can cut orings but I never got them to do one. The 24v head that I dropped off was junk/scrap, so, I never got to findout. They seem like good guys to deal with. They are located in the north east at approximately center street and 34 ave area.

D&W has someone local to cut the orings in. The fella lives in Balzac, almost near where I live. They can also port the head a lot cheaper than PDR.

I have an almost new cummins recon 24v head that has orings installed, available, if anybody needs one.

Hmm, well maybe that isky cutter (cuts the block) is the way to go then... I am quite certain in my first gen chassis I have enough room to do it in frame.

I will give them a shout, if there is someone local that has done them before I will go that route, if it is going to be a first time thing, I might as well be the one doing it.

Currently, Kevin (Morkable) is looking to Track Engine in Edmonton to do his, depending on the price. I've never called D&W, but that could be another route. Peak doesn't do rings, but they did give me a number to a place in Kelowna to do it. I think PDR does it, but its all by hand, as they sold their machine to do it, so I've been told.

PDR's Heads were done by Farrell, and as far as I know he is no longer there. He has been doing some contract work for Passenger, if I goto the effort of sending my head to BC, I will just send it to Passenger and have them machine off the intake while it's there. I will still call D&W and see about them, or this http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I will probably replace the copper with SS, or Inconel though.

Port the head prior to grinding the seats just in case you nick a seat. There has to be someone in Calgary, with all of the slow machine shops right now. Moores industrial can do the machining on the block, crank and head. They have a decking plate for the motor. I found someone who can do the custom crank balancing for the crank, I just need a truck to put it into and a little cash.

dvst8r, I have a spare VE engine head available to experiment on and see how it works out. I probably could put together a ARP stud kit as well for that engine. I have two or three arp kits laying around my garage and old VE engine that some piston damage. Might even have a few big turbos just waiting there chance into get some action.
