Shock valving, does this sound right?

So I originaly was going to piece together a 4" kit before but recently found out that my brother in law has a custom 4wd shop as a client ( hes an attorny ) and got me a rock krawler 5.5"xfactor kit at cost( which has long arms! ) and I called them trying to get the spring rate for the gas springs ( I have a hemi ) to help with some custom valved shocks. Well I guess they dont like giving out the information but they did have valving specs for kings/foa and fox shocks on hand.

The gave me: King comp"medium" rebound "med-heavy" and for fox "50/80". wondering if that sounds right to you guys.

You really need to know the number and size of shims for both rebound and compression to figure out how it's going to ride. Based on the information given don't think you can figure out the Kings (other than medium and medium-heavy, whatever that means), but you can with the Foxes. Check Fox's web site and see if they have a valving chart posted. If they do, look up the 50 and 80 number you have posted and it will correspond to a particular shim stack.

Rebound seems a bit heavy, and the compression seems light. They must be running pretty stiff springs, but light comp to try and get it to ride ok..
