Personally, I would not mess with it. I have done alot more mods than what you have done and have not had any problems with the output shaft at all. If it does break than 9 out of 10 times is is not going to trash the entire tranny anyways. Just my .02.

Well, I can only tell you that of all the trans guys that I have talked to, they all say that if the output breaks it only does very minor damage 95% of the time. I don't know how true this is as I have not broken one yet (nor do I plan to). I have done several (20-30) boosted launches and have had no problems. Not to say that I may in the future. By boosted I mean leavin the line at 20-25 lbs. Thats a boosted launch. It may actually break tomorrow I don't know, but, what I do know is that it(stock) has lasted for 3 years of h... you spell the rest from the good old skinny pedal.

I would get input from dusty and see what he has to say. it all depends on what you do with the truck. I went with all billet shafts not because I had money to burn, but I wanted less chances of it breaking. at the time I didnt really plan on doing anything other than taking it to the drag strip a few times. but after you get alot of power things change. I think you made a very good choice going with HTS. great people and customer service. dusty and marianne are really nice people.
