Seriously looking into 12v cams

Just want what everbody else wants. Quicker spoolup, more power, lower egt's and better mileage.
The lineup for new street cams;
F1 helix 2
Diesel pros
Wicked diesels

Regrinds;
Maxspool
PDR
Scheids

Who am I missing and what are others running?
Kurt

Maxspool 2.5
From my readings, and gatherings I wouldn't run a regrind for longevity.
Only reason I went w/ Maxspool was because at the time I needed a cam and the Helix's wasn't being produced for some time..

From what I've heard from people that deal in making cams a Marine cam dosent't seem to be a very good option.

I love my Helix 2, it makes good low end power. Talked to a guy on Comp D that installed the Helix2 in his 12v and was very pleased. By the way GLHS the Helix really makes my Gt3788r shine I love the combo.

I look at cam manufactures that will make you a custom cam (Wicked, Max Spool, Diesel Pro, Hamilton), not a off the shelf cam (F1).

Another issue is lifters.
Sounds like 12v lifters have a 1.0?" foot, 24 valves have 1.2?" and cr are 1.5" foot. I have been told you cannot use 1.5" lifters with lift pump lobe camshafts because they will hit this lobe.
Whatever cam I get I will be installing new lifters.

Why would you want to run 1.5 lifters.

The bigger the foot, the quicker the valve opens and the later it closes.
