Serious misfire
Hi all, long time no see.
I've got a dead miss at idle only when the engine is at operating temperature. It runs fine cold and does not miss under load. Aside from the idle miss, it runs like it should. Changed fuel filter and run some PS Diesel Kleen through and didn't help. Truck is bone stock except exhaust with 130k miles. I don't have any gauges or capability to measure rail pressure, etc.
Is my FCA taking a poo or am I looking at a more serious problem? Should I take it to Columbus Diesel Supply, Cummins Bridgeway, or Dodge? Please help!
Thanks in advance

I replaced the FCA last week and immediately solved this problem:
Bad stumble/idle when starting cold, with puffs of smoke out exhaust. Much less noticeable when warmed up. Undetectable when driving/towing.
It would also throw this code once a month after a real bad stumble on cold mornings: 0148 "pressure common rail"
New FCA and running like a champ for a week!

Update: Poured a double dose of Diesel Kleen in with a quart of two stroke oil and hooked up to the fifth wheel. Tore through the Hocking Hills like I was in a rental. Seems to have cleared up, at least for now!
