Serious clutch advice needed

Hello all. I have my SBC/DD/3250 in my garage. I am leaving on my vacation Sunday morning (8300 lbs trailer + all the stuff ). The truck has a tick over 10k on it. I bought the DD because the clutch in my 04.5/Superchips started slipping in less than a week. Since Superchips totally neutered the performance tune, the 2006, stock clutch has not slipped at all. My days before I leave on vacation are suddenly very full. Should I find a way to get it in (which may mean a guy doing it w/o me being there to double check torque specs & watch for clean fingers) or do you all think I will be OK on my vacation with the stocker?

Thanx.

That is good to hear. I just changed it back to "tow" mode today. It is so weird how my last clutch dies so quickly and this one has not slipped yet. I am still glad I bought the clutch, when I get back I want to sell the Superchips and get a Diablo stack (and studs/injectors/turbos/etc.).

Thanx.

My stock G56 clutch held 491HP and still holds it. It never has thought about slipping. My buddies NV clutch cant handle the exact same box without slipping. Go figure. I guess the dual mass setup has more clamping force or something?
