In my 98 2500 4x4...can't tell if its the same and the one in there is pooped?

I am thinking no. If the only thing that is wrong with yours is the little float and contact board that mounts on the side then you can use one off of a gas powered truck, but if the little screws on each side of the housing have worn through then that can also be fixed with a couple of thin washers. I believe 96' through early 98' but not positive.

well i am getting empty all the time. this is in direct correlation to an incident i had involving my driveshaft and a ratchet strap demolishing it.
