Seatbelt light comes, need help
Recently my seatbelt light comes on even when I have the seatbelt on. It randomly comes on and off while i'll driving. I checked the connection under the seat but it was not loose or dirty inside. All the bolts holding down the seats are tight so I don't think its a bad ground or something similar. Any ideas???? Thanks Ken

Cure it forever!
Get behind your drivers seat, and locate the wire harness that goes towards the buckle. You might have to remove a bit of wrap covering said harness. Inside the harness there are two wires. Cut those, wire nut them together, tape that up, and you're done. Your nuisance light will never come on again.

Just unplug the switch connector under the middle seat. You guys and wire chopping crack me up!
Mine was doing this too and a few shots of electrical parts cleaner in the buckle cleared it up .....for about a month and it started again. $104.00 gets you a new female end for the driver's side belt from the dealer.
Some feel the light is tied in with the airbag and should be repaired, not unhooked and ignored. I haven't had a concrete answer from anyone yet on this matter so good luck if you choose to disconnect it!
