seat upgrades ???

Just got back from a long trip and can't believe how uncomfortable these seats are, it's like sitting on a park bench!! It's a Laramie w/ leather but man there's not any cush. I'm looking to change these out with something else, while I was a passenger in a Chrysler 300 I noticed how comfortable those seats are. I can't be the only one in this boat has anybody swapped these seats out or had these seats re foamed ??

do a google seach for National seating. They offer an air ride seat base you can put between your seat and the floor and you can drive all day and "float" like a big rig seat.
Had them in my last three trucks, next to the Cummins it is the second best option on the truck !!
4-6 hours labor {if you are a do it yourselfer}

I had a loaded 2000 3/4 ton the leather seats in that were super comfy. I can take or leave the cloth seats in the 2004, they're not the greatest, but don't bother me that much.

I do favor the 2006 leather seats, they seem way different. I have been keeping an eye out on eBay for a set of take outs.

Yes one tonne, I agree, they ARE in need of some better padding. I was thinking of adding some memory foam. They look pretty easy to get apart, should be nothing to do them in either time or $$'s. Probably any good upholsterer could do them rather quickly and inexpensively too.

I bought real sheepskin covers at costco for around $40 a peice and really helps and keeps your seat clean. gray color and fit is perfect with the headrest down all the way.

5 minute deal to pull cushion cover (just a couple clamps) and add foam
