seat heaters

wondering if anyone has found a source for electric seat heaters and instaled them. my 98 24v is very cold in the cab. I have leather bucket seats. I reveresd the heater hoses to my core and this seams to help. also flused heater core with diferent cleaning soulutions. heated seats seem real nice on cold mornings. an info would be greatly apreciated

I was wondering the same thing as I want to have heated seats on my next truck but am having a hard time finding what I want with heated seats.

So I did some research and on e-bay you can buy the elements and controls to convert your seats into a heated seats. Do a asearch on e-bay they're easy to find.

However they won't do much to warm up the cab.

I know this is not a Dodge Ram site, but I used to have a Pontiac Grand Prix and they have a really nice heated seat kit available.
Check these out.

I heard Ford also had heated rear bumpers. Supposed to keep you hands warm when pushing 'em home in the winter…

Sorry, just couldn’t resist.

I put a set of Herzog heaters I think of ebay and they are great. They are the same heaters used in audi, mercedes etc I have only had issues with the switches which are cheap if I was a electrical genuis I would by the factory seat heater switch and wire it but I am a little handicapped in the wiring department.

The install is easy on a 1-5 scale 1 being easy i would say maybe 2

I installed a set from Geno's. Straightforward install and they work great. Took the seat out of the truck to do it, but probably could have done with with the seat in the truck. The upholstery (on my 97 leather seats) came off and went back on pretty easily. Makes a huge difference on those cold morning drives into work!

I wonder if I can get a heated steering wheel like the wife's new Nissan. That thing is pretty sweet on cold mornings.

charger3,
I did the Genos Garag heated seats.

The wife loves hers from her Volvo, butt now likes mine better.

I wired mine for top & bottom.

Good Luck,
Wayne
