Help I have 2 99 quad cabs with seat belt problems.
1st.
seat belt light will come on every half hour and the seat belts will lock, the only way to release them is to open the door. Then it is ok for another 1/2 hr.

2nd.
the dome light doesn't come on when you open the door but the map lights do! The seatbelt will not release till you turn the key to run.

So far:
I've tried a new CTM and changed around the seatbelt sensor under the center seat. I've checked all fuses and wiring that I could find. One truck has power when you turn the key on and the other seems to run off the timer for 30 minutes but no key power.
Any ideas!?!

have you tried the connections under the seats or the wiring harness to make sure you haven't cut the wire with the seat.

Seat wiring is good, I traced the wiring up front under the dash and if I put power to them the seat belts and lights will work. I thought the CTM would fix it but it must be another sensor or module somewhere! I was hoping to find someone else that had this problem and got it fixed.

Does any one have a wiring diagram for the seat belt system??

Any Ideas???
