Searching for clear plastic fuel line/filter/sight glass

Im going to be digging into getting all the air out of my fuel system when the weather warms up. Right now Im using these little 5/16 mercedes diesel fuel strainers that are clear plastic with little brass inserts in the tips to keep from crushing with the hose clamps. Problem is Im trying to run larger fuel feed lines all the way around if possible, including replacing the stock diesel filter with a 90gph unit. Im looking for something thats 1/2" or 3/8" where I can see the air in the lines. Anyone got any ideas? Someone recommended boiler sight glass tubing with clear PVC hose over it to make it safe.
Anyone tried one of those inverted filters with the clear dome on top where you can see the fuel level / restriction?

The company I am working for right now does commercial refrigeration (grocery stores). Look for a HVAC supply house and tell the you want an in-line sight glass in the size you need. You could either get them in flare or solder. If you got the solder one you could just slip the rubber hose over it and hose clamp it down.
It will easily hold #400 of pressure.

They have the clear hose that is fuel resistant, but it is pricey and sold in minimum quantities, so I passed on it, but I do like the idea of clear lines. Maybe someone would be willing to split up an order? KD

I did a bit of research before I got this racor 490 filter, but I never saw anything there that looked like a sight glass. Do you remember a product name or where in the menu it might be?
I like that HVAC sight glass idea, Ill look into that.

Look at the 6400, it's rated for 75GPH. clear at the top, filter, clear at the bottom.

This is the sight glass I have used on my GM 6.2 so I could check for air.
I also have them on all of my AC charging manifolds.
