I looked in the local I-wisher paper today and noticed some ford bullethole wheels and tires forsale. I jump fast and picked them up with Goodyear RT-S 265 75 R16 tires that have 70% tread left....for $150 including lugnuts.

Very nice find. I might be looking for a set of those in the spring. What years of Ford trucks did those rims come off of? A little bit of aluminum cleaner, some polish and they'd be all nice and sparkly .

Those are aftermarket wheels in the picture. The factory wheels didn't have the simulated rivets around them.

I have a set of the Factory Ford wheels for my truck. They came off of 94-97 trucks and vans even later. You cannot use 1999 and newer Ford wheels though. By the way, the factory Ford wheels are genuine Alcoa wheels. Very good quality. I had to give 300 for my set with no tires or nuts.

Ok, I do not know much about them. I have found the ford lug nuts I have for them will not fit a Dodge, the stud for Dodge's is smaller.

Ok, this is steep. I have found out I have American Racing Outlaw II wheels, good. It has taken me 3 weeks to find the topline products Duplex lugnut. Stockton Wheels in CA has them and wants $120 shipped for 32 of them .

So I will just have to look local. The topline spec for the lugnut is 1" shank length, 0.73" shank width and 1/2 20 thread.

Yes the Ford Aluminum wheels are made by alcoa and they still offer them on the Alcoa website. You can see pictures of them there. I paid 270 for a set of 4 with tires and no lug nuts.

You might want to give a holler at JEG's or Summit. They can get stuff that isn't shown on the net or in their catalogues.

One important factor is the flare or 'hub' on the bottom of the lug nut, that it be the correct diameter to safely retain the wheel per factory spec. Might call American Racing on that. Also Dorman Fasteners is well known to stock some really hard to find lug nuts and studs and most auto parts stores, at least NAPA and Carquest, can access Dorman for a search. 1/2" X 20 is just a fine thread instead of the more common 1/2" X 13 SAE thread.

You'll have to make sure that the 60 degree flare is correct for your wheels.

Thanks for the help JimmyD. I have called Jegs/Summit but they do not have anything. The lugnuts I need are lug-centric and have a 1" shank that sticks into the wheel lug hole.
