Scarry Larry is a whole bunch more power. Thats about all I know. Member 973604x4 just sent his triple dog out to get it upgraded to scarry larry, so I am sure we will be getting a report fairly soon from him

You had better have a fully built tranny or good clutch in your case before you stick that program on your truck or atleast have the money to do a fully built tranny/clutch about a couple hours after you do.

Wow - considering the enormous power I get from the "normal" Crazy Larry tune, I don't think I would consider Scary Larry. I consider Crazy Larry on the very edge of street driveability. Any more power and I would have a hard time just driving the truck around town.

Geez, I loaded my Bully Dog for the first time last night, and on extreme with the low end power enabled this thing is out of control! In the 8 mile trip home I think I cut my tranny life in half! I can't imagine what the Crazy Larry or Scary Larry would do...

8 i guess?
wap i think you are pondering smarty vs bullydog...so here we go:
doing a side by side comparison of the smarty to my bullydog....i've found out some things.
The Bullydog has more power on my truck...no question. getting that power is questionable.
The Smarty has a very smooth power curve while the CL or SL are similar to the stock program....100% power at 100% WOT. The smarty seems to have 100% WOT before the accelerator hits the floor my from experience.
Depending on where in the powerband you go to WOT, the Smarty might actually pull ahead of the Bullydog. WOT heads up....Bullydog wins everytime. (on my truck anyway)
Smarty on 9 can't compare to my Crazy Larry....and then Crazy Larry doesn't compare to SCARY LARRY!!!

You got the point of my question, on a scale of 1 to 10 with the scarry larry bein a 10 what would the CL be, you got it.
I am pondering it, you got me BUT my clutch is on the way and the turbo I want does not exist yet but I hope they will release em in a couple of weeks THEN I may consider a triple stack but I am just doin a little preliminary research.
In all reality if I do a tripple stack it will prolly be a smary cause it has 9 levels. I could run level 4 for daily driving and towin but when I wanted to race I could adjust my pressure with mp8 and the tst accordingly, and adjust them both on the fly.
But then again if the price is right on a TD with CL I will get it, I think I would be scared of UCL or SL (what ever you want to call it) without head studs.

Knowing the way I drive, i wouldn't get a turbo without studs. In a tripple stack the smarty probably would do better because of the power curve....but the smarty and my tranny actuator hate each other apparently.
