Watching C-Span Friday 8/15/08.So Friday morning I was watching C-Span.One of the guests was a spoksperson for a "politically neutral" organization called Moveon.org.What pricked my attention was the comment made by the Moveon talking head paraphrased as"the people are unable to obtain news for themselves, and should only rely on what is put before them by newspapers and MSNBC/CNN/FOX etc."And people called in and agreed with him.I am afraid, very afraid.[verymad]This country has been dumbed down to where this actually seems reasonable to those eligible to vote.

Moveon.org is a faaaaaaaaaaar left organization funded by money from faaaaaaaaaaaar left supporters whose desires for this country are not far from socialism. if they're politically neutral, i'll eat my truck, root for the Red Sox, and vote Obama this fall!

Moveone recieves great amounts of money from a wealthy NON-CITIZEN, George SOROS. who wants to control this country. It should be illegal.
Moveon.com is As far left as any group can get.

Did I mention that I've the ability to put tongue in cheek?Seriously, the Moveon spoksperson did,in so many words, say that the American public had not the ability to compile information on their own for independent thought.:(Btw.Chipmonk,don't blame me,when I first voted for President it was for Barry Goldwater. One of these days plied with enough libation,I'll tell you how we crashed The Republican Convention at The Cow Palace in South San Francisco.[laugh][laugh]

i wonder if the Republicans would've won the '64 election, if Rockefeller won the nomination? i think many people don't know how much Johnson is responsible for the 'welfare state'.

Soros is also the guy who funds most of the anti-Second Amendment activity out there.

that's the least of what he's doing. Soros is a currency speculator who broke the bank of England on Black Wednesday in '92, and destoyed the currency of Malasia in '97, while making billions for himself.
although a naturalized American citizen who donates millions to left wing organizations that are in favor of a much larger U.S. gov't that has a much greater control on people's lives (socialism) and huge increases in Fed taxes, his own business is registered in Curacao (a Carribean tax haven), where he avoids paying U.S. taxes and can hide who his investors are and what he does with their money.

Good old "Great Society"... Welfare generation one after another is all it created.

The more babies you pop out the more money you get. And being married, that's a big No-No since that cuts back on your baby momma's govt check.

If you're pimp enough you can run a few baby mommas and sit on easy street... There by breeding a super race of baby momma makers and turning women into simple breeding cattle.

Being an oppressed jew running from Nazis I'd imagine him to be one of the most opposed to taking away the people's defense against govt oppression. But wrong, he's anti second amendment.

He actually does have an interesting story about how he got into money trading.... It was while his family was running his father let him exchange their money as they crossed countries since he was able to count well and spoke differnt languages. I also don't think his father could read and was a real simple man.
