SB DD3600, and oil leak?????

Hey all, just got back from a 2000 mile trip, on the trip i noticed that my half my front diff was covered in oil, so when i got to my buddies i cleaned everything off, the whole front end was oil, track bar, oil pan just everything, anyways, i tightened up the oil pan, which wasnt loose, only to go 20 miles to see that there was oil on the diff again!!! So checked the oil before i left and it was mid safe zone, checked it there it was on the lower safe mark, well on my way back yesterday i checked it and it was below so i ended up putting in 3 qrts, now there has always been a "weep" of oil on the front of the oil pan or under the front seal, but nothing to ever cover or drip, soooo is this the front seal or oil pan, anyone had this type of leak, trucks got 212k on it!!! Now i just put in the sb dd3600 and ever since it feels like there is a vibration, now is this just the clutch? i dont know?? but if there is a vibe and this was the first long trip with it, would that cause the front seal to go? And since i'm on the DD... for those who have them in a 2nd gen, how is it to get it into gear? mine is a PIA!!!! 2nd and reverse are...grrrrrr.. i've adjusted the pedal everyway, and no change, is this just nature of the beast? and i like there advertisment for the DD, good for racing.. yea what ever, takes me like 2 seconds to get it into gears!! a power joke would beat me now!!! ok... just wondering if anyone else has had this type of leak? thanks for any info!!

Check your bolts on your damper. It sounds like they might be loose...or the rubber is coming out of the damper and caused the seal to leak from vibration?

my 3600 is alittle noisy not to bad and it did make shifting alittle notchy but I have ran redline MTL for the last 60-70k miles change it around 25k-35k miles in my 6speed I noticed this lube to be the best. also not every 6speed is the same some are a bear to get in. for reverse usually engaging 1st gear will allow reverse to go in smooth on mine. like Jamie said check your dampner that seems to be alot of oil coming out. also check your front cover. clean up the entire front end. good luck.
