Go with a larger HP injector or stockers?
When is a good time to replace injectors on a 12v?
How reliable are they?

I replaced my stock injectors at 300,000 miles - only because I wanted more power, they still worked just fine. With the #10 plate and a set of bigger injectors you will need a bigger turbo, and a beefier clutch. If your truck does what you need it to, just use a good fuel conditioner, and if over 100,000 miles you could just get an injector flush done.

D.B. I wouldn't worry about injectors yet until you get a new clutch.
THEN install that # 10 you are dreading to add, remove the K&N and get a BHAF......and hang on.....
Have timing advanced a little to help mileage, if you rather, but I wouldn't go with injectors yet, give it a little time.

Trust me, I had same feelings 6 months ago. Once I did it, I went back and adjusted it many times.
It's really nothing special, I also put a stock plate into my son in law instead of his killer #0
Seriously though, get a clutch in the budget, I was able to keep my stocker under control but I had to reduce power a lot, plus I couldn't tow heavy, it would have been too much slipping.
I had a guy quoting me a South Bend complete kit for $ 700.00, or get a Valair for less than $ 600.00
I know it might be a lot of money, but you have no way out if you start adding power.
Also read about the opinions with K&N, since I don't know what's the truth, I rather go with something else thank risk the engine, BHAF are well worth.
