Santa is on his way
Going sat. to pick up new camper it is a 2010 3410re Bighorn. The weight is 11,550 up about 1500lb but the hitch weight is 1,790 down 200lb compared to what I had, but I think that this good ole diesel can handle it don't you think. Is there anyone out there that has this unit if so how do you like it.

Congrats on the New Fiver. Truck will be fine as you already know.
Next time you can find a creaper and slide under the trailer and have look at the paint job on the frame. They don't use a lot of paint. Mine was delivered with 1-3 Mils and it was not even a primer. I repainted it last summer. I checked the paint thickness with a mill gauge.

Boy didn't know 4 extra feet look so long went from 32 to 36. had a Silver Back by Forest River which was a real nice unit just didn't like the rear entry. The Heartland with the Trail-Air's EQUA-FLEX rubber-cushioned equalizer rides so smooth and with that aerodynamic front and rear cap it pulls a lot easer. When I pulled my old camper the boost psi.would get up to 26psi and on this one it was only getting up to 22psi. and when a 18 wheeler got up behind me it didn't hold me back like somebody had tied a parachute to the back bumper. I will get under the bottom and check out the paint was under the impression that they powered coated them but who knows thanks for the heads up if there anything else let me know agian thanks.
