Safety...?

Guess we've all seen some good "shortcuts" intended to save a bit of time at the cost of safety. Perhaps at times, they really help and consequences are minor. This one isn't. I thought it would be interesting for this community as if you "click to enlarge" the picture, you will see the truck is a European Dodge. But to the hero's in the picture...

I dont get it

Shovel under the tire, bloody hand....Is there a story to this??

You don't get it? It is obvious, they don't have enough to keep people busy there so they look out of windows! Shovels can make nice pry bars too. And, you can use a shovel to lift those heavy tires up enough to get them on the mounting lugs. Never thought to use it for a wheel chock. Wait until the guys at the boat ramp see that one.

they were using the shovel as a chock so the truck wouldnt roll away
