Question s400 mystery turbo, any ideas?

here is a turbo i got a good deal on but have no idea on what size the thing might be (housings, inducer, tubine) so i am not sure if it worth addapting it for a single or a primary twin, the reason for thinking twins is that both the exhaust flange and the inducer housing face up were facing up like in the photo when i got it, plus the oil return line was cut were made a v shape down and twisted around and welded back together straight. i need some advice for i have no clue on what to do with it. it was just to cheap to pass up for it being as new as it is.

The 110 should be representative of a 1.10 A/R housing. As far as a single that housing would be ok on a dedicated sledpuller truck with big rpm.

The 2.8/71mm wheel is a good wheel to make power in the 600hp area.

The turbo you have could be used as a primary in a twins setup but the exhaust side might choke you down and the compressor wheel might be a little too small.

would it flow more air than my prostreet 66, and with the four inch exhaust instead of the normal five on a s400 you don't think that it would spool fast enough for the street with fuel i am pushing. thanks for the info

Yes but it would be difficult driving around. It would take some fuel to get it spooled But it would be strong on top in th rpm's

i wonder if this turbo was just thrown together by somone or does it look like a certain model of any kind, what kind of turbine housing does it need to become a good flowing twin?

It will be ok for quick spool twin setup for hot rodding around but for more mid and top end a larger turbine housing will probably be needed....like a 1.28
