RV's or Jammers?

Looking at injectors. In everyones opinion/experience what would be a better choice, going with some RV275 or some jammer tips either stage 3 or 4? I have an EZ at the moment, but looking at either a comp or TST shortly. I can't afford to drop $500-1000 on injectors. Thanks in advance.

Hey Black are you runnin a box or anything? I'm kinda leaning toward the jammers, but I just don't want to go to big for right now. How bad or I guess good do they smoke?

EZ and 275 will make nice power on a HO truck. Do you have plans to upgrade your clutch in the future?

What ever injectors you decide to get you're going to need the exhaust.

BTW I wish I had done the 4" sooner.

You will be completely bored in no time flat with 275's. Don't even bother. I won't go so far as to suggest which brand of tip you get, but I will say get at least a III no matter from whoom.

Trust me, been there done that... the 275's are a nice little kick in the right direction, but its just not enough to keep the interest....

Thanks Mega. That's exactly what I was wanting to hear. I was wanting to hear from someone who went that route. Exhaust Is coming just need to make a call. Going 5" stacks, can't wait! Clutch will be the next in line. I try not to get to crazy with it, hoping to make it last as long as I can, but I know one is in my future. Thanks for your help!

I agree with going larger. I did the same on my truck and now I am stepping up to where I should have been in the first place. Jammer stage 3 is a good place to start, but I think you would be happier with 4-5's.

Also which stacks kit are you looking at? If your going with the MBRP the exhaust components under the truck are 4", then it goes up after it comes through the bed.

Have fun!

Are you towing heavy?

High elevation?

Plan to keep stock turbo or go bigger?

I am planning Jammer IIs or IIIs because I am at high elevation. Don't tow heavy, but do tow 2000-5000 lbs quite a bit in the winter.

I can't afford to get a different turbo anytime soon, so I am leaning towards the IIs, which on an HO should be around 90 hp.

If you have plans for a bigger turbo then go for the 4 or 5s. Or if you don't tow at all and you are at low elevation, 3s or 4s should be fine.

I don't tow real heavy. Well I say that now. I pull a bronco, sometimes a boat, I'd like a GN to pull two vehicles for trips to moab and places like that. I'm guessin we are medium elevation. I'm in Nashville. I'd like to fab up a twin setup later down the road. So I'm trying to be smart about upgrades so I won't waste money.

I have the 4's with stock turbo and muffler eliminated. With no box temps could become and issue. With the VA and the wastegate blocked(I see 34psi max) they stay in check. I run post turbo and can only get 700 degress when loaded and on long accelerations with our drag chute dump trailer. I hardly get 650 with just the truck.

heck, it feels like sombody castrated my truck. i mean the injectors is a good upgrade over stock, but jeez, its got nothing above 2200 rpm. it fuels real hard to 2000, then it falls off a little bit, then 200 rpms later it just falls on its face
