What numbers are you all seeing with a TST Comp on rpms? They say it will fuel to 4500 when I talked to them but we can only get it to 3600 out of it. I was told it was because of the REMAN. Vp on the truck but that sounds kinda sketchy....

Would a BD rad box help out to rev any higher for pulling only. Even the REDLINE box wont go to 4000 rpm. Same thing 3600.

There is some kind of rev limiter in some of the ecm's which doesn't allow more than 3600 for some reason. I'm not sure what years it was, but I've read a few posts saying this.

Any Ideas how to get rid of this? Should I contact Bob or Marco and see if they can do anything?

I think Smarty is in the same boat. I believe this is why Marco never had a vp 4k tune. You can try calling them, I'm just telling you what I've heard/read. I've been known to be full of ---- before though. LOL

LOL... I hear ya... Is got to be something in the ECM cause all the boxes we've tried only go to 3600 on his and mine will wrap the tach right around to 4000. I kinda scared to do it on stock internals..... but it does.

On my old 01 I could spin 3900 with the smarty/tstcomp.

Did you have a SO pump? SO ecm?

A redline should be able to get you to 4K, if not something is wrong with the box, i have never heard of a truck that wont go to 4K with a redline

We got the redline back from BlueChip yesterday and now it does go to 4k. Dont know anything about if there was a problem with it cause I didnt talk to them. Ill find out. But why can my SO motor go to 4k with the TST with no problem but the other truck not. I dont get it....

Why does my truck go to 4300+ & nobody else really gets over 3600-4000? Nobody really knows, but its luck of the draw I guess.
