Round metal tank ...?
Hi Guys
I was crawling around under my truck and seen a round metal tank ... just under the exhaust manifold ... whats is it ...?

Its not stated in your profile, but I'd guess you have an automatic trans. Thats the transmission oil cooler, should be 2 oil lines and 2 water lines feeding it. Theres an air to oil cooler in the front too.

Actually it's there to help carry off some of the heat.
Your trans fluid temps can exceede 200 degrees pretty quickly when towing, your radiator temps should stay in the 180* range.
