Rough Idle

My truck will idle rough intermittently where you can see the RPM needle goes up and down slightly and I can also feel the cab rock back and forth. Has anyone experienced this before? What's the cause and should I be concerned? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Good point about the AC...also the compressor will cycle in the defrost mode as well.

Yes mine does it too
Only at idle and only sometimes.
I can not seem to find a pattern or what triggers it.
It happens only once and a while.
Prolly 10 times in 13,000 mi.
It is not A/C
Feels like a gasser with one fouled plug, or a vacume leak.Or a big cam.
Start and re start does no good.
Hot or cold no matter.
Thought it may be a computer or an Edge thing.
no codes?
I don't know
If there is more than one of us that this is hapening to,we should try to figure it out.

My truck did the same thing. I removed the EZ and the problem was solved. It also surged when it was cold in the morning, sounded like a gasser with a big cam. It even died when I pushed the clutch in coming up to a stop sign.

Changing levels doesn't work, disconnect it and see what it does.

Idle

My truck did the same exact thing. Sounds like a truck with a cam, and when I steped on the gas it sounded like it was a cold two stroke, just kinda reving up but missing. I stoped, restarted and it was fine (the first time) Second time had dodge tow it cause I wasn't gonna drive it there like that, then it sat for two days, they went to hook up a computer nothing, fired right up. I must note after that the truck seemed louder and the engine was clattier. So maybe they did and didn't mark it down due to paper work? Who knows but it's running strong again. It's only happened twice so far and I have 15,000 thousand on her.

My 04 does the same thing, removed the quad for a week and it still did it but not as bad. Put the quad back on and turn it up to 100 and it does it almost all the time, feels like it's running out of fuel. Gonna take the quad back off and see if I can get it to do it again, very frustrating.
