How hard is the install?

It's been a long time since I put mine in but I remember leaving the steering column in the truck, cutting out the old spring with a dremel tool and then pounding the bushing in with the supplied piece of pvc pipe they give you. I don't remember it being very difficult or taking much time.

Be sure to lock or tie the steering wheel so it doesn't overturn and damage the clock spring. When you go to install the new bushing make sure there are no rough spots on the old shaft, lube the inside of the bushing to help it break in. They recomend a 1/16" gap being left so don't put it in to far. Before you install the lock ring check for binding while turning a little left to right. I just did this last weekend with the column in the truck. Little hard to work on do to space but I didn't feel like pulling the column and having another issue with electrical wiring or something.
