Roar and vibration

Took it to shop ,they said it was front right wheel hub. They would repair for $600, but none available. So I did it myself for $300. First I checked diffy ,no problems. Still have roar. Can a U joint roar after 50 mph ? Everything runs fine till 50-70 then there is roar and vibration. Its been like this 3 weeks and is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Tires can make a grouly sound if they are aggresive and starting to cup...Check that. Maybe it's time for a rotation.

Thought of that

Tires rotated two weeks ago. Not the problem.

Roar would be strange from a U joint I would think.

Carrier or pinion bearing maybe?

I have had the same prob. on my 06. I had an ABS light come on, had it checked and said left front wheel scensor. so I changed hub and light stayed on and vibration and sound hasnt gone away. I have noticed that when I had my wheels balanced it was 6 - 9 ounces out af balance scince the last balance and rotation which was only 2 months prior. I know that BFG has had bad batches of tires, and mine are around 8 months old. Discount said one of my wheels are bent ( MOTO METAL ) yep they were cheap. please keep us posted if you change anything else or if you find it.. Thanks, I will do the same.

Funny, I have BFG tires around 8 months old too. My problem is something else tho, you can feel almost grinding thru the steering wheel.
