Not sure if I read you right but if your talking about the way these trucks run down the road its normal. my truck is a 2 hander most of the time, not happy anywhere just wandering here and there. If you do some looking on here you will find many problems and many cures. I haven't gottin to any yet but as soon as I get a few $$ together I need a track bar and some other things. Some days when I'm tired I swear if the cops were behind me they would be hauling me over for having too many beer in my system. The problem is I don't drink.

My truck is very tight. when I first bought it, it would wander all over. New Thuren trackbar, DSS, MaxxLinks, Energy suspension sway bar bushings, PSC 3 turn steering box. Fixed it right up.
These trucks ARE NOT meant to drive like this. I can drive down the highway one handed and not wander all over.
You have worn front end parts.

My truck track straight and true. I can even take my hand off the wheel and it will go straight. 103K on the clock.

You guys must have something different than I do. My truck when it was new and only the miles on it to get it to the dealer was very loose. The first time I drove it the thing felt like it wanted to go all everywhere. I guess that is the way Dodge built them. I have talked to many people over the years and asked how their trucks steered and I got the same answer" Terrible". If you look at some of the posts on here there seems like alot of people in the same boat with me. I do have a worn inner tie rod end and track bar but its only a little worse than it was new.
Just tellin my story, and I guess if I rebuilt my entire front end with high quality parts it would be tight too. If the steering wasn't bad to begin with why all the new parts??
I don't mean to sound cranky but its a known fact that these front ends are a weak link and they do need attention on a regular basis..

Have you ever tried taking so of the lash out of the steering box?
Its about a 5 min. job, but sure does help.
