On road trip and have no TC lock-up, any ideas?
Drove to PA to visit the family for the weekend and trucj was fine. Left this morning to go watch some drag racing and I have no lock-up. I made sure the connectors are tight on the trans.
is there any checks I can make to see wth is going on? All the rest of the shifts are just fine.

Check for codes if its something that can be seen by the ECU it should be there.
Check the fuse for the trans relay and test the harness for 12V on one wire to make sure its feeding.
Wire a switch into the circuit to get you home if needed, and it will tell you if its electrical or mechanical.

No coded with key trick and the smarty doesn't see any. I swapped the fuse for the trans and it made no difference and the fuse checked good.
as far as th 12v, what wire and where? I know there has been a ton of lockup switch posts but I have limited internet while here so if someone could give me a quick rundown I would appreciate it.

just wanted to say thanks again to no 6 oh no as he has called me twice. I made a manual lockup switch and still no lock up. So yes, it could be the solenoid.
looks like I will drive it back as is and troublehoot from home next week.
thanks
