The right clutch?
My dual disc clutch is going out AGAIN!! this one made it 70,000 miles. Clutch is slipping also.
SBC?
OFE - A little noise at idle? A lot of noise at idle?
ConOFE? Hard to back up with a 24,000 trailer up a grade?
Hyd upgrade?
Valair?
Help me make the choice. I pull heavy. I drive A BUNCH!! 8-10,000 miles per month. Would like a stock pedal feel. I will be pulling with 50hp injectors and the box off. But when the trailer gets dropped off

I'm wonering if going back to a single disk is the right move considering you burnt out a DD?
I'll be going to an OFE when the time comes, heard nothing but good things about them.

I have an OFE and love it, I tow heavy sometimes but play around alot, and it does a very good job of holding. The FE is more grabby period, but it will hold more. What DD setup did you have? I know the SBC DD kits should last longer than 70,000 miles.

you mean FE, is jerky for towing trailers. they hold well, but the driveability can suffer
the ofe is outstanding for trailer towing.
but, like mentioned above, if you killed a DD, you gotta figure out why before getting another one. i dont see enough mods to kill a DD, unless you bought a generic one, or driving style.

Got the Con OFE installed today with the solid flywheel and hyd upgrade. Drove it home, about 260 miles and I love it. chatter is bearly noticeable. I was actually able to put my Edge on level 5 and the clutch not slip. Its the way to go.

i've got about 6k miles on my southbend dd 3250 and i have absolutely no complaints. it is a stiffer clutch but it isn't very grabby. i pull pretty heavy (around 20k w/ truck and trailer) at least once a week and i haven't had a problem so far. better have your wallet ready though
