right clutch kits for hauling and fun
Im looking for help picking the right clutch for my 06 2500 2wd ram, I travel alot with work and haul a 30ft fifth wheel camper all over the US. I have a hypertech chip, and putting a flowmaster hush cat back exhaust. I was going to buy the Centerforce DX clutch but it is back ordered until Feb, and Looked at Southbends but still unsure. I want something that will handle the hauling but can enjoy the power while unhooked. Any suggetions
thanks

Most everyone on here will tell you to go SouthBend.
I run a Valair. and it has been great to me. holds the power, quiet. half the price of a SB and the customer service with Valair has been top notch in my opinion. ( I have no dealings with SB)
Welcome to DTR, What do you do for a living? I will be traveling the US to after I graduate school May 2010 ( going to be working on Wind Turbines)

i have run sb on all my other trucks and they have done real well, never a problem. they were chipped and hauled heavy. i have a valair on my 06 only because i was not in a good money positon to get a sb. the truck is stock but tows heavy, you will have to get the hydraulic upgrade, i am still running the stock, it's working but will have to be changed out. i have had no problems with it other then i do get a little more noise then the stock one but i dont mind it cuz i am rid of the dm flywheel

When I do my clutch, it will be the South Bend. So far, I have had NO clutch problems, but when it gets replaced it will get the SB clutch and hydraulic kit too.
