Ride Quality

Ride Quality
Just picked up my new 2500 yesterday. Will be hitting the road next week for a trip.

Have any of you noticed that the ride quality improves with some miles on the truck. I had not noticed just how firm this truck rides in the "test truck" I drove.

On the good side this added stiffness should help with loads and it sure goes around corners nicely.

Re:Ride Quality
I recommend you go as fast as you can to a tire dealer and swap the 265 tires for the BFG 315's. Best opportunity for trade-in value is right after you drive off the lot. I found the larger tires took a little of the harshness out of the ride and really added to the overall look. The tires are quiet on the highway which was a nice surprise also. I traded four 265's for $400 mounted and balanced. While its hard to dig deeper into your pocket after such a large purchase, you won't regret it.

Best of luck with the new ride!!

I think I am going to wear these out and/or go for the Revo A/T if they make them for this rim size. The new Revo's are unbeliveable on my Montero in a 6 ply
