Ride Height

I looked at a 95 3/4 two wheel drive today as i was shopping for a second CTD . Mine is a 02 two wheel drive also . There was about 4-6inches difference in bumper height in the front.
This rig didnt have any lift but was taller. I was wondering if anyone has a part # for front springs or aftermarket springs so i can raise my new one the same .I have noticed this before and wondered if they had different height springs on the earlier trucks?

Like a boat anchor? What do you mean? If you mean slow and sluggish, yea right. Mine is just as peppy as a 2WD, It gets worse fuel mileage and wonders all over the road, but who cares. It will pull anything anywhere. Belive me I know.

No Wagon, I dont mean slow, or lack anything,
I mean with the Black Gumbo dirt we have is like quicksand if the ground is wet you will sink , The heavier the vehicle the worst off you are here. I have two Toyota 4x4s i use when i have to go offroad , My CTD is just used for pulling. including the trailer for the Toyotas.
I just would like to have a little more ground clearance so i dont rip my front air dam off in some of the parking areas i pull in to .
I didnt want to maintain another $X$ when i bought my tow rig.

10-4 Misunderstood your post. As for your problem maybe you could put different coil springs on. Not much of a 2WD guy.

Good Luck

I installed the Daystar, 2.5" coil spacer on top of my springs, and now the truck sits level.I have plenty of room for alignments, but would like to lower the draglink. I havn't found a drop down pitman or idler arms for these trucks yet, but I'm still lookin'. The part Number is KC09100BK @ $76.99, and a set of Gabriel shocks, part number G63817.

this is kind of off the subject but another reason i like the four wheel drive is when iam backing a heavy loaded trailer in a weird or ackward spot i like the fact i can lock the fronts in and have some better grip
