Those are the ones on E-bay? If so put on your flame suit, some hate e-bay with a passion. I have been thinking about trying one of them, attempted to contact someone on there that put one in the same truck as ours but has not gotten back to me yet.
I contacted them and they stated you can order one with what ever efficiency you want.

Yes they are on Flea-Bay, They list all of the correct parts and yes I like the fact they will custom build to your needs as far as amount of stall.
In my 94 I had a name Brand converter, best in the business at the time it only lasted 100k miles before it seized up and wouldn't un-lock (i had a 180k on the stocker) of coarse they did nothing about it but sell me a new one at full cost.
As far as the Flaming bring it on its getting cold around here anyway

No not all of Goerends TCs are lifetime warranty just the most expensive ones.
Dave builds a great TC as well as transmissions, and he charges a high price for them and that is ok but he is not the only one building quality goods.
By the way A lifetime Warranty is like Free minutes on your Cell Phone.
As to always getting what you pay for is not always true, The TC I put in my 94 was the one of the best, most expensive in its day installed by a major trans builder with a high end rebuild it didn't last half as long as my stock Chrysler one. That Company is still regarded on this site as being a great converter.
