Finally got the megacab resonator installed (I got it off of 53 *****) on my straight pipe set up. All I can say the sound is awesome. The exhaust isn't raspy and it doesn't wrap or crack as hard when you put your heel to the steel. The exhaust is slightly quieter (is that a word?) than a straight pipe but way louder than any muffler set up I've heard. It still maintains the exact rumble of a straight pipe and gave it a deeper tone. Drone was reduced but still noticeable. I would recommend it to anybody that likes the straight pipe sound.

Thanks Mark, The next thing I am pondering is making the exhaust 5 inch from the resonator back. Can I get a 5 inch straight pipe kit to due that? All I would need would be a few feet of straight pipe and then the tail pipe section.

ya just dont buy any mufflers from diesel performance systems they dont work or try to give you a refund for it. I run their system but wasnt really pleased with it. but it is very hard to buy a tailpipe from anywhere. they are the only ones who sell it seperate
