Replacing Overhead Console Lights

I need to replace my overhead console lights and need to know details on the procedure. I did a search and it looks like the job can be done without removing the console. I tried prying the lens off, but felt like I was about to break the lens. Let's say I'm working on the driver side light. Should I be prying on the left side of the lens or the right? Where's the exact pry point? Is it in the middle or on the corners?

It will probably easier to just pull the thing down, its very simple to do.

I found this picture of the back side of the console. It's hard to tell, but it looks like their might be a clearance issue trying to slide the socket and bulb out. Do you know if this can be done?

i would say if you have to just pull the 2 screws at the top and 2 screws at the bottom of the pic out if the bulbs wont clear the reflectors.

Ahh, did not notice those screws. Looks like that will work.

Thanks
