Replacing the Intermediate Steering Shaft Borgeson or OE or…?

Dodge replaced my steering shaft at 30k miles. Now at 83k it is loose again and I will be replacing it. It looks like the Borgeson is over twice the price of an OE replacement from Dodge. Is it worth it? I read once about fit issues with the Borgeson. Is this common or is it as easy to install as the OE?

Thanks for any input

I've had that one for 5 years. Still on the truck. I did install the DSS steering stabilizer for the loseness, but I may have a steering box gone bad.

I had a similar situation to you. Dodge replaced my first intermediate shaft around 32K and I think I need another one at 59K. My fathers was replaced on his 01.5 at around 38K with a borgeson... did it himself and seemed to have no issues. His steering was noticeably better.

I'm going to go with a borgeson. They are on ebay for just over $200. Much cheaper than borgeson.com. But I just spent $$ on a new MBRP so it will be awhile. I need a new trackbar too... I'll just have to herd the truck down the road for a few months.
