Hey guys. My headliner, and carpet floor are both about worn out after almost 13 years of use.How hard is it to replace both of these, where is the best place to get them, and what would it cost me? Thanks a lot!

I repaired my headliner last summer. Got a kit for about $30 delivered online (ebay or somewhere else). It was pretty easy, took a couple of hours. The kit was just uphoulstery that matched the interior, instructions and some adhesive.

I replaced both on my truck. Not very difficult. To replace the carpet just remove the seats and door sill covers, remove the old carpet, trim the new one and reinstall everything. A trick someone suggested is to put the seat bolts back into the holes in the floor before you install the new carpet. That way you know where you need to make holes in the carpet for the bolts. Just cut an "X" over the bolts and push the carpet over them.

The headliner was also easy. Remove the interior panels and the dome light and the sunvisors and wiggle it out the door. Remove thold material and then remove all of the old foam and glue from the panel (I used a wire brush mounted in a driil). Spray the headliner with spray adhesive and stick the two together.

I got both from an upholstry/auto glass place near me. Just make shure that the heradliner material is wide enough to cover. I think the standard width was 48" but that is not enough. If I remember correctly the stuff I got was 60". They had to order it for me.

The carpet was around $180.00 and the headliner material was around $40.00. Don't remember exactly it was a few years ago.
