Replace Tail Light Bulbs - Backup Light Out on a 2001
Can someone please tell me how to replace the Backup Light bulb on a 2001 see my sig below? I can't figure out how to get the taillight out to change the bulbs. I do have the stock bedliner which it may be under it but not sure.
Any help would be appreciated...:

Um from what I remember, the bed liner should not be in the way. There should be 2 Torx Head screws along the siding of the light (drop the tailgate, and you should see 2 of them that are facing towards the lights). Un-screw those, and then take a screw driver and pry (carefully) the other edge (side that is facing the front of the truck) of the lighting fixture out of the box and that should do it!
The rear lights on the boxes are held in my a push in style lock, almost like the fittings that hold parts of your dash together, but only larger. And those 2 Torx Head screws. As far as the bulb goes, should just be a simple twist in one direction and R&Ring the bulb.

Thanks so much Dinner! I am going out to do it now. Thank goodness I have Torx head bits in my tool box. I for the life of me could not figure that one out without tearing things up.
