Question How to Replace the AC Evaporator Core in a 98 ??

The one under the Dash panel ???

Does the whole dash need to be removed to obtain access to the AC evaporator ??

Can someone point me to a How To Article ??

I don't have a how to handy, but yes, the entire dash has to come out. It's not a small undertaking...

There are several good writeups on that project. Do a search under heater core. Both units sit side by side in the "box." While you are in there replace them both. The passinger side of the dash can be "pulled" back and tied up to give you room.

Here is one from last year. I did it and it's not hard just a lot of work.
